i-will-wait-on-you-lordLORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” Hab 3:2 (NIV)

“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” Jn 16:13 (NIV)

“Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.” 1 Co 13:12

“…as it is written: ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”—2 Co 2:9

Lord, I come before you each day in a spirit of prayer, reflecting on your majesty. As it is written in Habakkuk, “your splendor covers the heavens and the earth was full of praise to you.”

Teach me your paths today, show me the directions to take in my life. Help me to stop, when I want to go on, stop and read the road signs, listen for your voice.

“To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul; in you I trust, O my God. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse. Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.” Ps 25:1-5 (NIV)
