Father, as we come to the season of year called Thanksgiving, let us truly remember that all we have, all we enjoy, is a gift from you.  None of it is given to us because we deserve it.  Every good and precious gift is just that, a gift You have bestowed on your children.  All our praise, adoration and thanks are given to you.  Amen
