It is very satisfying to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We invite you to do something that none of us could do alone. To engage in a prayer and worship movement that is sweeping the world with believers from every denomination, background and language coming together in unity pursuing the presence of God.

21 DAY CALL TO PRAYER

The Great Southwest Prayer Center has been led to continue in a 21-Day Call to Prayer.

We invite you and your congregations to set apart September 6 – 26 for 21 days of prayer.

Nehemiah heard the report of Jerusalem’s ruin. His response, in Nehemiah 1:4, was to weep, mourn, fast, and pray. The Great Southwest Prayer Center’s slice of the pie is to continue in prayer for our community and press in over these 21 days.

Our doors will be open during normal business hours for people to come and go. However, we are offering times of corporate worship and prayer each day from Noon to 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This is a time for us to come together in prayer as a body.

WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN US

These prayer times will have specific themes of:

WORSHIP

Pure Worship – blessing the name of God.

HEALING

Praying for healing; and ministering healing prayer to people.

INTERCESSION

Strategic prayer points over our city, including revival.

This year over 5000 joined in prayer and worship in Katy Texas May 5th – 7th non-stop for 50 hours.

Beginning with the National Day of Prayer gathering at the Merrell Center where an estimated 4,500 gathered in prayer as the unified church and then throughout the following 2 days around the clock, at the EpiCentre, over 500 came day and night to pray and worship before our God.

All praise and glory belong to the one who is worthy, Jesus.

About Us

The Great Southwest Prayer Center is a community prayer center.

All are welcome to come, sit, pray, worship Jesus, and read their Bibles, regardless of denomination or church affiliation.

We encourage people to come, step away from their personal pursuits or even ministry for a time, and engage in the prayer & worship taking place here and encounter God in a refreshing way.

All are welcome and you are free to come and go as you like.

Monday-Thusday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Wednesday 5:00am to 5:00pm
Friday 8:00am to Noon

The prayer center offices are open Sunday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am – Noon.

We have over 150 intercessors who are committed to praying for all prayer requests that come through via phone call and email.

On behalf of the churches of Katy, Texas, the Katy Church Elders, made up of Pastors Gbolahan (Falu) Faluade, Tim Barker, Jorge Cardenas, and Jim Leggett, serve as an Advisory Council. They serve to give order and counsel; and, to provide spiritual covering and blessing to the 24/7 prayer movement. We are building 24/7 Prayer in Katy Texas

Our goal of having live prayer and worship for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is a daunting task and requires strategy and insight to sustain the endeavor. We break down the 24 hours a day into twelve 2-hour “Sets”.
