Someone Prayed

The headline recently said that a United Airline pilot led a double life. Pilot by day, pimp by night. He led a huge prostitution ring with 6 locations across the Houston area that has now been brought down. While I grieve that such evil even exists (I really cannot even imagine), right now I praise God for brining it down. He used law enforcement to do the work necessary to close it down and bring justice. He also used the prayers of believers from all over this city. I can’t prove it, but I believe it with all my heart.

Here in the Great Southwest Prayer Center we pray for justice, righteousness, purity and holiness to prevail in our city. We pray for Gods will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray for captives to be set free and chains to be broken. We pray for freedom in the name of Jesus Christ. And we are only one little Prayer Center in Katy, Texas. There are others doing the same all across the Houston metro area. There are radio stations, prayer rooms, retreat centers, churches, pastors, worship teams and prayer groups all doing the same. Each one is connected to the others in the spiritual realm whether we know each other or not. Through the name of Jesus Christ we stand together as one, unified in prayer and God Almighty, maker of heaven and earth hears our prayers and moves on our behalf.

So be encouraged. God hears your prayers. Yes, there is evil in the world. There shouldn’t be brothels and bombings. But be assured that when you hear of brothels brought down and terrorism averted, someone, somewhere prayed.

“He loves righteousness and justice, the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.” Psalm 33:5
